The Challenge

When Fight Zone first started out, the problem of workforce management was not at the top of the list amongst its many other business concerns. However, Fight Zone started to expand operations from a single outlet to 3 outlets across the country.

Lena, Administration Executive, knew that their old ways of relying on pen and paper to track attendance as well as excel sheets for scheduling would no longer cut it. With attendance taking using pen and paper, it was not only inefficient but also relied heavily on a trust system.

Furthermore, the only way to track punctuality was to monitor CCTV footage at the end of every week. Needless to say, payroll was a much-dreaded nightmare for Lena, who had to eyeball every row and cell at the end of the month. It was exceptionally difficult for a company like Fight Zone who relies on freelance trainers, as well as part-time staff to run outlet operations on the daily.
